Process Book

Laser printing, 8" x 10"

This is the final outcome of my studio work during the winter semester, 2014. The book demonstrates how I work and why I take certain decisions throughout my studio investigation. The sections are arranged to highlight a process of researching theory and materiality and experimenting with applications to reach the final outcomes. The studio as a research method has guided my process to work with meanings that are embedded in materials - the material as an extension to the concept. Those initial attempts are important in order to convey how material can communicate a message by reacting differently to shifts in application.
