Western media has been a major player in misinformation, disinformation, manipulating, picking and choosing and muting the voices of the Palestinians. All of which have prolonged a genocide we are witnessing in real time while media was focusing on one question “Do you condemn Hamas?”

This work is part of a series of ink prints for Gaza. Ink is used as a metaphor to the journalist - the writer and the reporter. The daily reporting by western media on Gaza has been minimal, portraying Palestinians as barbaric, unworthy if not responsible for their own killing. Random ink splatters mirror rockets dropped at random to carpet bomb entire neighbourhoods, wiping out whole families at once. The word Gaza is written in Arabic, vaguely bleeding, speaking to all the innocent lives that had nothing to do with the subject of the question - Hamas.
